Membership
Anyone wishing to attend is welcome to play as a guest for up to 6 weeks, before being invited to become a member.
If you are already a member of Badminton England then you will not have to join after the 6 visits and can continue to attend the club as a guest.
Fees
Current fees are £20 per season for an Adult plus the weekly fees.
These fees are in addition to the Badminton England Affiliation Fee.
The Club fee of £17.50 per adult or £5.75 for Juniors (12-18) allows players to participate in the local leagues and competitions as well as the BE monthly newsletter, ticket discounts, priority access, kit & equipment discount and liability insurance.
The Compete fee of £16.50 per adult or £12.50 for Juniors (12-18) gives all of the above as well as a Competition license allowing players to participate in county matches and BE sanctioned competitions. It also allows access to physiotherapy and personal accident & equipment insurance.
There is also a Durham County fee of £2.50 per person in addition to the above.
Teams
For the 2025/26 Darlington & District League season Aycliffe have entered one team in each of the Mixed Doubles, Ladies Doubles and Open Doubles leagues.
